Attain High Power Conversion Efficiency in AC-DC Power Supplies with Fairchild's Interleaved Boundary-Mode PFC Controller
The FAN9612 , an interleaved boundary mode PFC controller, interleaves the power trains at precisely 180 degrees out of phase to deliver 96 percent efficiency in green power supply designs. The FAN9612 is also able to reduce the input filter size and board space by as much as 10 percent compared to alternate solutions.

Enable Highly Efficient Switch Mode Power Supply Designs with Fairchild's High-Speed, Low-Side Gate Drivers
Fairchild's single 1A and 9A gate drivers offer rugged reliability, two inputs on each channel, optimized drive timing to maximize efficiency, efficient current delivery and a choice of packages. With the additions of these devices to the portfolio, the FAN31xx and FAN32xx series offers the industry's best combination of performance, size and design flexibility for switch mode power supply (SMPS) designs.

Simplify Design with Fairchild's Over-Voltage Protection Device with USB/Charger Detection
The FAN3989 incorporates an on-board FET and features built-in automatic detection allowing the device to sense the presence of a USB charger. Its over-voltage protection addresses the emerging safety standards that are particularly important in cell phone applications.

Extend Battery Life in Biometric Sensor Modules with Fairchild's IntelliMAX™ Advanced Load Switches
The FPF202x series offers the industry's lowest quiescent current to prolong battery life in biometric sensor modules found in laptops, ultra-mobile portable computers (UMPCs), smart phones and many other portable devices.

Improve Efficiencyin PCs, Servers and 200W - 1kW Industrial Power Applications with Fairchild's CCM PFC and PWM Combo IC
The FAN480x is a CCM PFC and PWM combo IC that offers over 85 percent efficiency, brown-out and high ESD (HBM ESD>5kV) and a switching charge multiplexer for excellent power factor (PF) and total harmonic distortion (THD).
