Extend Battery Life in Biometric Sensor Modules with Fairchild's IntelliMAX™ Load Switches

The FPF2024, FPF2025FPF2026 and FPF2027 offer the industry's lowest quiescent current (1µA) and prolong battery life in biometric sensor modules found in laptops, ultra-mobile portable computers (UMPCs), smart phones and other portable applications.

Increase Design Flexibility in Non-Isolated DC-DC Buck Conversion Applications with Fairchild's Step-Down DC-DC Regulators

The FAN8301 and the FAN8303 are highly integrated non-synchronous step-down, DC-DC regulators that offer up to 90 percent efficiency in applications such as set-top boxes, DSL and cable modems, distributed power systems, DVDs, auxiliary supplies and many consumer appliances.  These devices reduce power consumption by featuring the industry's lowest quiescent current (1.2mA).

Attain Excellent Signal Fidelity and Minimize Interference in Dual Camera Cell Phones with Fairchild's Analog Switch

The  FSA1211 is a low-power, 12-port, high-speed SPST switch that is optimized for isolating a high-speed source such as a cell phone camera interface.  This switch features high bandwidth (>720MHz) that actually exceeds the bandwidth that is needed to pass the third harmonic, resulting in minimal edge and phase distortion.  Its superior channel-to-channel crosstalk minimizes interference.

Energy Efficiency

Download the February desktop wallpaper calendar from Fairchild.

This month we're highlighting energy-efficient solutions for lighting.  Did you know that three and one-half 300 MW power plants could be eliminated by using 20 million LED lights?

Check back each month as we highlight a different application, show how it can be more energy-efficient, and provide information on our products, green notes and tips on how you can conserve energy.
