Simplify Design, Increase Reliability and Reduce Total System Costs |
The
FAN7316
and
FAN7317
are the industry's most integrated CCFL backlight inverter drive ICs that provide space and cost savings, superior system reliability and simplified design for N-N half-bridge, push-pull and P-N full-bridge LCD backlight inverter designs. These CCFL backlight inverter drive ICs feature a wide input voltage range, built-in open lamp protection (OLP) and an open lamp regulation (OLR*) circuit, eliminating up to 30 external components in four lamp circuit inverter designs compared to similar devices on the market. These highly integrated CCFL backlight inverter drive ICs also feature selectable dimming polarity and analog and burst dimming functions, which simplify design and speed time-to-market.

| Minimize Current Consumption in Your Mobile Devices with Fairchild's Hi-Speed, 480Mbps USB 2.0 Switch |
|
The
FSUSB45
is a bi-directional, low-power, two-port, Hi-Speed USB 2.0 switch. This switch minimizes current consumption even when the control voltage applied to the SEL pin is lower than the supply voltage, making this switch ideal for mobile applications such as cell phones as it can interface directly with the general purpose I/Os for the baseband processor. The FSUSB45 also contains special circuitry on the switch I/O pins for applications where the VCC supply is powered off, which allows the device to withstand an over-voltage condition.

The
FSA110
is a double-pole, single-throw (DPST) switch that combines a low-distortion audio path with low off capacitance for USB applications. This configuration is ideal for wired-OR configurations such as personal media players and portable peripheral devices as it enables shared USB2.0, Hi-Speed (HS) and audio all on a single connector.

Protect Your LCD Power Supply with Fairchild's LCD Power Supply Supervisor
The SG6518 is a LCD power supply supervisor that provides the over-voltage protection (OVP) for 5V, 12V, and outputs V1 and V2 as well as over-current protection (OVP) for 5V, 12V, and outputs V1 and V2. When the voltage of the over-temperature protection (OTP) pin decreases to 1.2V, the OTP function is enabled. The fault protection output (FPO) is set to HIGH to turn off the PWM control IC. The voltage difference across the external current shunt is used for OCP functions. An external resistor can be used to adjust the protection threshold.

Join Fairchild Semiconductor at the Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC)!
