In 1985, FACT™ (Fairchild Advanced CMOS Technology) logic attains superior speed while retaining the low power consumption of CMOS. It offers system designers superior line driving characteristics, as well as excellent ESD and latchup immunity. The FACT AC and ACT series offer standard logic functions with CMOS compatible inputs and TTL and MOS compatible outputs. FACT is the first high-performance CMOS logic family on the market and the only one to survive aggressive market competition.
